You have a choice of two routes in Québec City: Route 138 (Boulevard Hamel) or, alternatively, Boulevard Champlain, which features great views of the St. Lawrence and access to the brand new Promenade Samuel-De Champlain. A gift from the Québec government for the city's 400th anniversary, this large park on the shores of the St. Lawrence is an urban oasis for thousands of visitors. A little further along, the Petit-Champlain District provides a taste of New France, with its cobblestone streets, boutiques, and first class restaurants in historic surroundings. See the Château Frontenac as you've never seen it before or, in season, admire the impressive cruise ships that dock in the city. Just around the corner, a stop at the Old Port Market is a must.
